Boiler help for Bournemouth

Is Cox & Foy Limited Gas Safe registered?
This directory does not confirm registration. Anyone working on a gas boiler in the UK must be on the Gas Safe Register, so check it directly using the company name or the postcode (BH6 4HY) before booking, and ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card on the day.
How often does a boiler need servicing?
Once a year for a gas boiler, ideally before winter. An annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer keeps most manufacturer warranties valid, and for a rented home it is the landlord's legal duty (the CP12 gas safety record).
What should I do if I can smell gas?
Turn the gas off at the meter, open windows, avoid light switches and naked flames, leave the property, and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. Do not wait for a routine appointment.
How many boiler and heating companies are there in Dorset?
This directory holds 736 active heating businesses across 31 towns in Dorset, all from the Companies House register. Bournemouth accounts for 169, among the county's busiest. About 31% of Dorset's registered heating firms were incorporated in the last three years, so weigh incorporation date and Gas Safe registration, not just company age.
